Sandscape Publications launched in 1994 in the San Francisco Bay Area to offer solo and ensemble sheet music and music books for all ages and levels of musicians, from beginners to professionals. In 2006, the company moved to Santa Fe, NM. Sandscape Publications evolved from Skyblue Productions, founded in 1989 in the Bay Area to produce recordings of compositions by Valarie Morris.
Our compositions and arrangements in many styles continue to delight performers and audiences. To help make ordering our music easier, in August 2019, we created our online store SandscapeShop. Our music is also available at music stores across the US and in Canada.
Sandscape Publications carries sheet music and music books for holidays, supplemental music to inspire students, mix and match collections, and contemporary works for the 21st century.
Sandscape Publications features the music of Valarie Morris, who is now accepting new commissions. She received her Master of Arts in Music Composition from Mills College in Oakland, CA, where she studied with composers Anthony Braxton and Arturo Salinas.
